Virginia is For Lovers Marathon February

14k Run (8.67miles): The Virginia is For Lovers 14k starts in front of the Virginia Beach Amphitheater. This fast, flat course finishes back at the Verizon Wireless Amphitheater where runners can celebrate in the heated tent with music, food, beer and award ceremony. There is also a 1.4 mile run that starts at the same place as the 14k.

Couples & Relay Teams: Grab a partner and compete in the couples or relay team category. Couples teams consist of three categories M/F, M/M, and F/F. Both participants have to run the entire 14k and their combined times will be scored. For the Relay, the first participant runs approximately 4.1 miles and the second participant completes the other 4.5 miles. Relay categories are: male/female, male/male, female/female.
